About

Massimo Faggioli is Assistant Professor of Theology at the University of St. Thomas (St. Paul MN, USA).
He received his PhD in Religious History from the University of Turin in 2002. He has carried our scientific research at the “Foundation for Religious Sciences Giovanni XXIII” of Bologna from 1996 to 2008 and has arrived at St. Thomas in September 2009. His recent publications include "Il vescovo e il concilio. Modello episcopale e aggiornamento al Vaticano II" (Bologna: Il Mulino 2005); "Breve storia dei movimenti cattolici" (Roma: Carocci 2008); “Angelo Giuseppe Roncalli - Giovanni XXIII, Tener da conto: Le agende di Bulgaria (1925–1934)”, ed. (Bologna: 2008). He is under contract for “Vatican II: The Battle for Meaning” (Paulist, 2012) and “Reforming the Church at Vatican II: The Deep Implications of Sacrosanctum concilium” (Liturgical, 2013).
